JATIMTIMES – Sebagai bentuk kepedulian terhadap keamanan dan keselamatan para relawan yang mengamankan jalur Gumitir yang terjadi longsor, Polresta Banyuwangi melalui personel Polsek Kalibaru, menyambangi para relawan di jalur utama Banyuwangi - Jember  untuk memberikan bantuan sarana prasarana berupa rompi dan senter lantas, di Kecamatan Kalibaru Banyuwangi  Kamis (9/4/2026).

Kegiatan yang berlangsung di KM-238, Dusun Barurejo, Desa Kalibaru Manis ini dipimpin langsung oleh Kanit Lantas Polsek Kalibaru, Aipda Aries Prasetiyanto, S.H., didampingi Bhabinkamtibmas Desa Kalibaru Manis, Brigpol Zerier, S.H.

Lokasi tersebut merupakan titik krusial yang saat ini tengah mengalami ambles atau tanah longsor, sehingga memerlukan pengaturan arus lalu lintas ekstra melalui sistem buka-tutup.

Bantuan rompi dan senter lantas diserahkan kepada para relawan yang selama ini setia membantu petugas kepolisian dalam mengatur arus lalu lintas di kawasan tersebut. 

Selain menyerahkan bantuan alat pendukung, petugas kepolisian juga memberikan edukasi dan imbauan agar para relawan tetap mengutamakan keselamatan diri (safety first) saat bertugas di lapangan, mengingat kondisi jalan yang licin dan berisiko.

"Kami sangat mengapresiasi dedikasi relawan di Jalur Gumitir. Pemberian rompi dan senter ini adalah bentuk dukungan nyata agar para relawan tetap aman dan terlihat jelas (visible) saat membantu pengaturan lalu lintas di titik longsor. Sinergi antara Polri dan masyarakat adalah kunci utama untuk memastikan keselamatan serta kelancaran arus bagi seluruh pengguna jalan." ujar Kapolresta Banyuwangi Kombes Pol Dr. Rofiq Ripto Himawan, S.I.K., S.H., M.H.

Kapolsek Kalibaru, Iptu Alam Nuswantoro, S.H., dalam laporannya antara lain menyampaikan kehadiran Polri di tengah relawan adalah untuk memperkuat sinergitas dalam memberikan keamanan kenyamanan dan kelancaran bagi masyarakat yang melintas.
