JATIMTIMES - Tersangka kasus dugaan pelecehan seksual dan pornografi, Mohammad Imam Muslimin alias Yai Mim, yang saat masih menjalani masa penahanan di Polresta Malang Kota, dilaporkan meninggal dunia, Senin (13/4/2026). Saat ini jenazah Yai Mim tengah berada di kamar jenazah Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) dr. Saiful Anwar.

Informasi Yai Mim meninggal tersebut dibenarkan oleh Kapolresta Malang Kota, Putu Kholis Aryana. Ia memastikan bahwa yang bersangkutan meninggal dunia dan saat ini dalam penanganan lebih lanjut pihak berwenang. “Benar, yang bersangkutan meninggal dunia,” kata Putu Kholis Aryana singkat.

Sementara itu, Penasihat Hukum Yai Mim, Agustian Siagian, juga membenarkan kabar duka tersebut. Ia mengaku menerima informasi bahwa kliennya kini telah berada di kamar jenazah rumah sakit RSSA.

“Dikabari sekitar satu jam lalu, saat ini sudah di kamar jenazah RSSA. Tadi rencananya mau dimintai keterangan oleh polisi terkait kasusnya,” imbuh Agustian.

Ia menjelaskan, berdasarkan informasi yang diterimanya, kondisi Yai Mim pada pagi hari masih dalam keadaan sehat. Namun, secara tiba-tiba kondisinya menurun pada siang hari hingga akhirnya dinyatakan meninggal dunia.

“Awalnya pagi sehat, tapi tidak tahu kenapa siang tadi drop dan meninggal. Sebelumnya memang ada riwayat diabetes,” jelasnya.

Sedang, kasus yang menjerat Yai Mim sebelumnya menjadi perhatian publik, sehingga kabar meninggalnya tersangka di dalam tahanan pun menambah sorotan terhadap penanganan perkara tersebut. Yai Mim mendekam di tahanan 19 Januari 2026.
