JATIMTIMES - Pernah merasa warna lipstik terlihat begitu cantik di orang lain, tapi berubah jauh dari ekspektasi saat dipakai sendiri? Fenomena ini ternyata bukan sekadar soal cocok atau tidak, melainkan dipengaruhi berbagai faktor seperti undertone kulit hingga warna asli bibir yang kerap luput diperhatikan.

Beberapa hal yang harus diperhatikan salah satunya adalah perbedaan skin tone, undertone, hingga warna asli bibir setiap orang. Hal ini dikupas beauty content creator Dinda Azzura.

Perempuan yang akrab disapa Dinzzur itu menjelaskan bahwa undertone kulit memiliki peran besar dalam mengubah tampilan warna lipstik. “Kalau kamu punya undertone yang warm, warna lipstik cenderung akan terlihat lebih oranye atau lebih gelap. Sementara kalau kulitmu fair dengan undertone cool, warna nude yang harusnya soft bisa berubah jadi pink banget,” jelasnya.

Menurut Dinzzur, kesalahan umum yang sering dilakukan adalah menjadikan tampilan model atau influencer sebagai patokan utama tanpa mempertimbangkan kesamaan karakteristik kulit.

“Makanya jangan cuma lihat di orang lain. Lebih baik cari referensi dari orang yang warna kulitnya mirip dengan kamu, supaya hasilnya lebih mendekati,” imbuhnya.

Selain itu, banyak orang masih mengandalkan swatch di tangan sebagai acuan sebelum membeli. Padahal, menurut Dinda, cara ini kurang akurat karena tekstur dan warna kulit tangan berbeda dengan bibir.

“Swatch di tangan itu kelihatannya halus dan warnanya bisa terlihat beda. Tapi kan lipstik dipakai di bibir, bukan di tangan. Bibir kita punya tekstur dan warna dasar sendiri yang memengaruhi hasil akhirnya,” tambahnya.

Faktor yang paling menentukan, lanjut Dinda, justru berasal dari warna asli bibir. Ia menyebut hal ini sebagai aspek yang paling sering diabaikan, padahal memiliki pengaruh paling besar terhadap hasil akhir lipstik.

“Warna asli bibir itu faktor utama. Misalnya bibir kamu cenderung gelap atau keunguan, pakai warna nude bisa jadi abu-abu. Kalau bibirnya pink, pakai lipstik pink bisa jadi terlalu terang atau neon,” ungkapnya.

Tak hanya itu. Kondisi bibir seperti two tone juga turut memengaruhi tampilan lipstik. Pada bibir yang memiliki warna tidak merata, hasil lipstik bisa terlihat belang jika pigmentasi produknya kurang kuat.

“Kalau bibirnya two tone dan lipstiknya kurang pigmented, hasilnya pasti nggak rata. Itu yang bikin kelihatan kurang maksimal,” jelas Dinzzur.

Ia menegaskan bahwa perbedaan hasil ini adalah hal yang wajar. Bahkan, satu warna lipstik yang sama bisa terlihat sangat berbeda jika dipakai oleh dua orang dengan karakter bibir yang tidak sama.

“Jadi sebenarnya bukan lipstiknya yang jelek, tapi kita sering lupa mempertimbangkan warna asli bibir kita sendiri. Padahal itu yang paling menentukan hasil akhirnya,” tutup Dinzzur.
